Uriah and I were able to get out and enjoy a full day together in Indiana with no kids before he got busy with work. It was nice. Mom and dad were able to watch Ian and Emma Thursday night. :) We drove down to Indiana and spent the night in a super 8 motel. We got there at midnight and left by 7:30am to go to the Off-Roading park, but it was still nice! The park was fun and it had all dif. kinds of off-roading. From dirt, to rock quarry, mud, hill climbs, etc. A fun-filled day that I did not know what to expect exactly when I signed up for going when Uriah asked!! We met up with a couple that Uriah had got acquanted with through Pirates Off-Roading. It was nice to have them show us around and help each other with our brake-downs! Which was bound to happen with the guys driving over EVERYTHING that came in their path! Now I know ..boys are just born that way. Ian has helped me figure Uriah out more.. Why Ian walks through every puddle there is, even if it is on the other side of the sidewalk... Hmmm. Anyway.. than we met Karan and Doug who took our children to the Duck Club that Friday night in Il. (to spend the next day cleaning for Grandma Shirley to get the place sold.) February 26th 2009 :)

Anniversary of four years. !! We were able to spend our evening together in Dubuque. We got Mom and Dad to watch kids for the few hrs. And Karan got us tickets to the Bells Tower Theatre. It was a nice night to get away. We spent the first hr. grabbing a bite. Than on to the Theatre. I nice change of pace and something we would like to do more often, where we try 'new' things and not just same ol' stuff. I personally would like to try something new once a month. OR at least every 6 weeks. Thanks Karan!

Too Long since I have last blogged!!

I am not sure where the past 1o months have gone. Other than everyday life, a new baby, and just adjusting to having 2 children :) I will make sure to post photos soon.

Amanda's Big 22 Day cont.!

OK! I am still getting use to posting things on here as you can see! But those photos from Amanda's Bday go like this. First Amanda holding her first scavanger hunt clue... scrolling down to the bottom ... than going up to the top where I am in the car... down to the three of us holding Amanda's bday gifts! And this is how her night went...
Tiffany had organized a special night for Amandas birthday by plotting out a scavanger hunt for her to get her presents from Uriah and I and my parents and Tiff. It was fun and Tiffany had her going all over town to find other clues to lead her to the park where she barried her gifts! Leave it to Tiffany to make her birthday a special one! Later that night mom had a meal for all of us and Uriah got to the house for leftovers at 10pm. Brittany also came to stop by and say "HI" to Amanda after her day of work!
